It matches newcomers who have been in Denmark for less than 3 years, with local volunteer hosts who speak the Danish language and know about the local community and job market. Meetings between newcomers and volunteer hosts enables mutual learning between fellow citizens and helps newcomers get a good start on their life in Copenhagen. This tour shows the latest bicycle innovations in Copenhagen: a wonderful new bridge (the Cycle Snake); the Green Wave, where cyclists going 20 Km/hr get the green light and might never have to stop because green LEDs are built into the road beside the bike lane; or bins inclined at a comfortable angle for cyclist to deposite trash without stopping his journey. The result of that is a 5% increase to 42% share of trips into the city and a lot fewer cars. In words of Clarence Eckerson, Jr: "Copenhagen just keeps finding new ways to make it easier and more convenient to bike. Recently I had the chance to take a tour with Mikael Colville-Andersen of Copenhagenize and see some of the innovations that have changed the city's streets since I was there four years ago. First off, if you've seen ...

Copenhagen is a six-month-old German Shepherd who lives in Bellevue, Nebraska. I was called in for a dog behavior training session a month ago to address his playing too rough and occasionally attacking his much smaller room mate, a 15 year old Westie. These issues were a result of a complication that occurred after being neutered and his guardian not being able to exercise or socialize him. This is one of the videos we shot during his session. You can watch more videos or read about the rest of this session and hundreds of others at http://www.doggoneproblems.com/dog-training-examples/

Tens of thousands of people commute by bike each day via Torvegade in Copenhagen. Here's the crush of rush hour - sure beats the honking and fumes of rush hour in NYC! OK, I have to admit, I had a little help. This was the backup resulting from the raising of the Knippelsbro drawbridge. It took quite a while to clear the backup (note how orderly everyone is, for the most part staying in the bike lane) - and there isn't much of a backup of cars or trucks!
